ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE ROSES REVOLUTION FOUNDER. PLEASE SHARE WIDELY Dear all, Six years ago and out of my outrage against the Spanish Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists I started a movement of women who will take roses to hospitals and public buildings to tell their stories of obstetric violence. The movement has grown far beyond anything I could have ever imagined (we know of 31 countries that actively participate). A couple of years ago while in a conference in Berlin it shocked me to hear so many women from around the world talking with passion about The Roses Revolution and explaining to me (without knowing that I have founded it) why it was so important. It was then when I saw clearly that it was a success for it now belonged completely to the women, the women have found their voice with it, and it was used by many countries to report and fight obstetric violence.
